As Izzy is unable to purchase her own horses, she is very grateful for the opportunities given to her with the horses she is able to ride. Without owners letting her ride their horses, she wouldn’t be able to compete, so Thankyou!

Last Gift

I was delighted to be given the ride on Queenie in 2023 from Adiva stud/Cat Austin. She is French’s half sister and is a 16.2hh 8yr old bay mare by Governer/Fabriano. She is a wonderful mare and we have had some great success in our first season including 3* international wins.

Je Suis Adiva

I was so lucky to be offered the ride on French , ‘Je Suis Adiva’ in February this year by Cat Austin of Adiva Stud and Sporthorses after losing the ride on Foxy. She is a stunning black 16.3hh 9yr mare by non other than Negro, the sire of the world famous Valegro, out of a donnerhall/fabriano mare.

She was quite inexperienced having only done a handful of novice tests when she arrived and we have spent the last 8 months getting to know each other with some great results to date. She became  reserve national champion in the summer gold para championships, and has some very promising scores at the big step up to 3* international level!

Show Fox

’Foxy’ is a gorgeous 17hh 10yr bay mare owned by Jane McWilliam. She joined us for a year with some great results before sadly picking up an injury which was career changing for her before we really got our chance to shine and she is now loving life as a brood mare.

Grand Bolero K

I was lucky to ride Bolly for 12 months, a beautiful 16.1hh 8year bay gelding owned by Deborah Doyle. While learning together we have enjoyed some good competition results both in the UK and internationally during 2019 before he went on to a new home at Christmas.

Coco Chanel

I rode Coco, owned by Alison Duck from 2012-15. Coco taught me so much and gave me a great start. I enjoyed every second of our journey together, ending on a high at Bishop Burton CPEDI 2* in August 2015 where we came 1st and 2nd. She then sadly went home to enjoy an easier way of life.

Touchdown M

Sophie Wells and her family very kindly let me have the ride one of her horses after coco retired, Touchdown. He’s an advanced horse and has taught me so much about my riding. We have enjoyed many many successful times together and among lots of results/wins, being national champions, we were also selected as reserves for the European championship 2017 and the World Equestrian Games 2018! Touchdown has just retired September 2019 from competition and I will miss him such a lot!

Pinocchio
Needs no introduction, but for those who don’t know him, he’s an 18hh gentle giant who has won European, World, and Paralympic gold medals with Sophie Wells, as well as doing Grand Prix with her too! I’m incredibly fortunate to have competed him, thanks to Sophie and his owner Jackie Walker, and learnt so much about riding while really enjoying my time on him!. He too has had a fantastic season with wins in Deauville CPEDI*** and Hartpury CPEDI*** He is now retired from competition and is enjoying an easier way of life.
